About

About 100 years ago, I started this blog as a way to vent, rant — and yes rave — about the crazy, harried life of a mother, wife and business owner. I started to take it a bit more seriously when my 84-year-old grandmother got herself a Mac for the sole purpose of reading my rants (and checking on her stocks). Each day, she would visit, read and take great pains to give it to me on why I didn’t have a relationship with Jesus or decided to ‘take off’ on my dad (her son) or to explain how “Dr. Phil said spanking isn’t okay.” Which was just in the nick of time because I was out back whittling myself up a paddle just as she wrote. (Close call.)

Then in 2010 our life went and Jumped the Shark. So my hormonal rages turned to a regular update in Caring Bridge-esque mode when the hubby came down with some ass cancer. Only by this time my dear, beloved Mima had died suddenly and couldn’t critique me any more. Just when I really, really needed her to.

So since we can’t seem to live life the dull way, you can stay tuned (or not) for the rest of our high jinx as they occur.

I hope you’re bored out of your freaking mind.

Thanks for reading. xoxo
